<p>On Wednesday Apple released a new version of iTunes that disables the ability for any non iPod/iPhone to sync with it. The Palm Pre, which has been in circulation for 6 months now, has been highlighting it&#8217;s ability to &#8220;trick&#8221; iTunes into thinking it was an iPod.</p>
<p>Fortunately for Palm, that move from Apple did not deliver a death blow and Palm&#8217;s stock who went for a nosedive early wednesday (falling 7.4%) recovered by the end of the day.</p>
