Ok…so the news is that Myspace is launching this revolutionary ad-supported music service in September. It’s creating a big buzz and CEO Chris DeWolfe says that this service will launch “a new chapter in the story of modern music.” I guess we will have to wait and see….

The issue is that Imeem offers the same service and already have the 4 major labels on board (MySpace currently has 3 out of the 4). Will MySpace use their “clout” to convince the major labels to drop Imeem or will their plan to launch the new chapter in the story of music fail?
