I SUPPORT LOGIQ (ISL)
The grassroots movement
- OVERVIEW -
This campaign is an initiative developed by Open Optics Entertainment Inc. as a tool to increase awareness and to grow a strong and loyal fan base eager to support Logiq’s push to make a change in the music industry.
Just like any grassroots movement, this project starts at the local level and aims at recruiting loyal fans who will turn into loyal street team members eager to be a part of something bigger and influence a change in the current state of hip-hop.
- THE MOVEMENT -
The goal of this movement is to build a large network of supporters all over the world ready to take charge and support good music. This movement is about bringing hip-hop back to the lyrics, back to when artists actually “rhymed outside the box” and explored creativity. In other words, back when rappers were lyricists. We need that back! WE need artists like Logiq who infect people’s ears with good music that touches all emotions, music that makes you move not only your feet but your soul as well, music that leaves you reaching for the rewind button. Logiq is a lyricist on a mission to bring back creativity through words, melodies and beats…one track at a time.
- THE SUPPORTERS-
We’ve setup 3 categories under which anyone who enjoys Logiq’s work can register and show their support.
1. THE FAN
Definition: Someone who can devote 5 to 10 minutes a day to the movement. A fan is a foot soldier in this army and the support required from you is the minimum required and can easily be accomplished even with a busy schedule.
Involvement: Every fan must register here (see right column) and must be connected to all the social networks used by Logiq (iamlogiq.com, facebook, twitter, MySpace, YouTube and Reverbnation). ISL (I Support Logiq) fans help spread the word about Logiq on digital media, interact with Logiq on social networking sites by adding comments on blog posts and videos, and show support at concerts. ISL fans will be asked to call up local radio station to request Logiq’s songs and to vote on online forums.
Benefit: Some of the benefits of registering as an ISL fan is that you will be able hear exclusive content from Logiq before anyone else, you will get discounts on shows and merchandise, you will receive a free “I SUPPORT LOGIQ” t-shirt (while supplies last), and you will have the satisfaction of being part of something bigger as the era of good music returns.
2. THE STREET TEAM MEMBER
Definition: Someone who can devote 10 to 15 minutes a day to the movement. A street team member is a super fan passionate about good music and anxious to spread the word about Logiq online and on the streets.
Involvement: In addition to the requirements listed under “fan”, you will be asked to hit the streets once in a while to recruit new fans, interact with the public to help make them aware of the movement and pass out flyers.
Benefit: In addition to the benefits enjoyed by fans, the street team members will be able to participate in the contest section where they can win cool things such as electronics, gift certificates, cash prizes, studio time and more.
3. THE STREET TEAM LEADER
Definition: Someone who can devote a significant amount of time to the movement. A street team leader is hand picked by Logiq to be the face of the movement in their respective cities. The street team leader is an intern at Open Optics Entertainment Inc. and based on the quality of their work, he/she can be promoted to a paid position as the company grows.
Involvement: Street team leaders are in charge of the successful execution of all promotional campaigns in their assigned area. The design of the street team missions is handled by OO and once a mission is created, it is the responsibility of the leader to make sure that all the street team members and fans in their area are involved in the mission. Leaders also conduct meetings quarterly as a “meet and greet” to get to know the new fans and street team members. Leaders work closely with Logiq. Street team leaders are young professionals who always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Benefit: Some of the benefits of being chosen to be a street team leader include the opportunity to work closely with Logiq, and the ability to have a valid work experience as an intern at an independent record label. The street team leaders are also chosen (based on the quality of the work they put in as interns) for part-time or full-time positions within Open Optics Entertainment Inc. as the company expands
